FREE Professional Liability Insurance

 
In partnership with BMS Canada Risk Services Ltd. (BMS), the OAC is proud to provide a FREE $1,000,000.00 individual Professional Liability Insurance (PLI)* that protects its members from lawsuits for damages claimed by a third party, resulting from a professional error or omission or negligent act, committed during the course of their activities as an "Optician".  You can learn more about the OAC PLI here.

Many provincial regulatory colleges require that Opticians carry their own individual PLI  to obtain and maintain their license.

Members can easily upgrade their PLI to a $3M or $5M limit by contacting the OAC at 1-800-847-3155 or emailing [email protected].
