OAC Online Continuing Education

Online continuing education offers the flexibility to enhance your knowledge from anywhere, whether at home or on the go. The Opticians Association of Canada does not leave anybody behind and want to fulfill its mandate by bringing education to your door steps because we all have different schedules, responsibilities and needs.

All online continuing education is free for OAC members, while non-members can access courses for $20.00 each.

The OAC offers:

• Live Monthly Webcasts
• On-Demand courses through our CE Library and OAC App, Ventla

All continuing education provided by the OAC is reviewed and accredited across Canada by:

• The National Alliance of Canadian Optician Regulators (for Opticians in AB, BC, MB, NB, NL, NS, PE & SK)
• The Opticians Association of Canada (for Opticians in QC)
• The College of Opticians of Ontario (for Opticians in ON)
• The Canadian Association of Optometrists (for Optometric Assistants)

The number of credits or hours you earn by attending our events depends on the presentations you attend and the province you are licensed in. Credits and hours may vary by province, based on the policies of your Regulatory College.
